Our acceptance into the Defense Industrial Base Consortium (DIBC) marks a strategic milestone in our mission to modernize the American arsenal.

The strength of the American military is inextricably linked to the strength of its industrial base. As the Department of War pivots toward a "ready-to-fight" posture, the bridge between the Pentagon and innovative manufacturers has never been more critical.

Today, Supply Energetics is proud to announce that we have been accepted into the Defense Industrial Base Consortium (DIBC).

What is the DIBC?

The DIBC is a select group of industry leaders, academic institutions, and innovative startups specifically curated to support the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)). Its primary mission is to harden the domestic supply chain and accelerate the development of critical technologies-particularly in areas like munitions, propulsion, and energetic materials.

By joining the DIBC, Supply Energetics is now part of a collaborative ecosystem designed to bypass traditional, slow-moving procurement cycles in favor of speed and agility.

Why This Matters for Our Mission

For Supply Energetics, joining the DIBC is not just about a new credential; it is about accelerating our ability to solve the "energetics bottleneck" at scale.

1. Direct Demand Signals Through the DIBC, we have a direct line to the DoD’s most urgent requirements. This allows us to align our production of nitrocellulose and other energetic precursors exactly with the "Maximum Annual Production Rates" called for in the latest FY26 Appropriations Report.

2. Leveraging Other Transaction Authority (OTA) The DIBC utilizes OTAs to fund rapid prototyping and industrial scaling. This enables us to move from chemical validation to physical infrastructure at the "speed of relevance," ensuring that our modular, distributed manufacturing units can be deployed when and where the warfighter needs them most.

3. Strengthening the Network Resilience is a team sport. Being part of the consortium allows us to collaborate with other leaders in the industrial base-from Solid Rocket Motor (SRM) providers to specialized chemical processors-creating a unified front against supply chain fragility.

Building the Future of Defense

As we continue to expand our operations in Parsons, Kansas, and explore new sites across the heartland, our membership in the DIBC provides the strategic framework to scale. We are no longer just building in a vacuum; we are building as a recognized, integral part of the national security architecture.

The mission to rebuild the "Arsenal of Democracy" is well underway. We are honored to have a seat at the table.
